As you know, individual agencies don’t set pricing. Over the past decade, repair costs, vehicle technology, medical expenses, and overall claim frequency have risen significantly across the industry, which has impacted premiums. We always strive to provide coverage options that fit our customers’ budgets and needs.

Insurance works in cycles — when claims frequency increases, premiums must adjust to cover losses. When results improve, State Farm has historically adjusted accordingly and, at times, returned dividends back to customers.

"After almost 10 years and no accidents with Statefarm, even with premiums increasing by more than $50 every six months, I stayed with them.
A few weeks ago, I wanted to change my mailing address, and they changed my home address. I spoke with an agent named Jessica Macias, who acted in a personal and disrespectful manner towards a client with almost 10 years of accident-free coverage. Instead of helping me, she made things difficult, until I decided to switch to another insurance company suggested by her. I don't understand how they can have someone working there who doesn't behave professionally. I believe that good clients should always be able to negotiate to reach a respectful agreement. I think Jessica Macias is the worst agent I've ever spoken to at Statefarm. I apologize for this comment because Statefarm is a good insurance company, but Perry Olson needs to choose their employees more carefully before losing their best clients.
